Highlights from the last Council Meeting
Council Meeting Highlights - July 15, 2026
- Bishop O'Donnell will celebrate the 8:30 a.m. Mass on July 26, when seminarian Gabriel will participate in the Rite of Candidacy. A parish breakfast reception will follow.
- Children's Liturgy of the Word launched successfully and will continue on a trial basis. OCIA classes continue meeting weekly.
- The parish picnic will not be held this year. Instead, parish celebrations will focus on Father Ben's priestly anniversary in August and birthday in September.
- Several maintenance projects were completed, including storm repairs, rectory deck replacement, and plumbing repairs.
- Fall Festival preparations are underway, and raffle ticket sales continue.
- The Council voted to discontinue the annual nut sale fundraiser due to limited profitability and supplier changes.
- Proposed revisions to the Parish Council bylaws were reviewed. Final approval was postponed until September to allow additional feedback.
